Cassie and Michael were married at a beautiful church ceremony at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY followed by a reception at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel. They dated for four years and Michael proposed in a sunflower field in August 2020. They enjoy sightseeing and being adventurous, so it made sense for us to capture their engagement session at Minnewaska State Park.

The wedding was a beautiful fall day in November and even though the seasons were starting to change, we still had a lovely warm day for their wedding. Surrounded by their friends and families, they got married at Mount Saint Mary College where Cassie was attending college. Funny story - I also attended Mount Saint Mary College for my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. It was so nice to be back on campus for this joyous occasion.

What really made the day come together was the careful planning that I took to create their timeline, help them with their family photo list. Because of the extra time that was budgeted into their schedule, they had time to enjoy their cocktail hour and have some time to relax before entering their reception. One of my favorite parts of their wedding was just being able to capture them and their guest having fun at the reception. Cassie and Michael were surrounded by so much love on their wedding day and I am so thankful that I got to be a part of it.
