This past year Covid has put a damper on many people’s wedding plans. It has been a difficult year for all of us, but that didn’t stop Andrew & Sarah from celebrating with their friends and families this past August. During the height of Covid in 2020, Andrew & Sarah actually had their microwedding with their families and postponed their big celebration for August 2021. I was so ecstatic that I could be the one to document this special day in their lives.
Andrew and Sarah were so wonderful to work with! They were laid back and fully trusted me to capture their day the way I wanted to. I helped them put together a timeline that allowed them time to honor the traditions that they wanted. They didn’t want to have a first look, so we built time into their schedule so that they could enjoy their cocktail hour as well as take time for some couple’s portraits . I had also helped them to create their family portrait list to make it easy and seamless so everyone can go back to enjoying the wedding. One of my favorite moments of their wedding was their first dance. The expressions on both of their faces and watching their guests be excited and happy for them was something I feel so grateful to be a part of.
They were married at the Mill Neck Manor House in Mill, Neck, NY in Long Island. They had a beautiful tented wedding outdoors surrounded by their families and friends. I worked with some amazing wedding vendors that helped make their day come together:
